Terms of Service
Terms for using IncidentStudio to prepare emergency incident drill scenarios and training materials.
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Training Tool Only
IncidentStudio is a training and drill preparation tool. It is not an emergency response command system, dispatch system, incident command platform, or substitute for your department policies, certified instruction, local authority requirements, or professional judgment.
Generated materials must not be relied on as operational directives. Users are responsible for reviewing, validating, adapting, and safely using every scenario, image, animation, resource, and drill packet before use.
Accounts and Organization Access
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account or workspace. Organization administrators are responsible for deciding who may access shared projects, credits, and generated materials.
You must provide accurate account and organization information and promptly update it when it changes.
Credits, Purchases, and Billing
IncidentStudio uses credits for paid visual/media work actions such as generation, transformation, refinement, and animation. Drill packets are included. Credit amounts, pack pricing, and included actions may change over time and will be shown in the product before purchase or use.
Payments are processed through Stripe. You are responsible for taxes, fees, and charges associated with purchases made by your account or organization.
Generated Outputs
Generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, unrealistic details, unsafe assumptions, or details that do not match your local procedures. You must review and edit outputs before using them in a training environment.
IncidentStudio does not guarantee that generated scenarios, images, animations, checklists, or packets are complete, accurate, realistic, or suitable for any particular drill.
User Content and Generated Materials
You are responsible for prompts, uploaded photos, logos, documents, organization details, and other content you provide. Do not upload content unless you have the rights and authorization to use it for training preparation.
As between you and IncidentStudio, you retain ownership of your uploaded content. Subject to these terms and your payment obligations, you may use generated outputs for your organization training and drill preparation purposes.
You grant IncidentStudio a limited license to host, process, transform, display, store, reproduce, and transmit your content and generated outputs as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use IncidentStudio for illegal activity, harassment, hateful or abusive content, sexual or exploitative content, deceptive impersonation, unauthorized confidential information, or content that exploits real victims or real-world tragedies.
You may not use generated content as official emergency command direction, attempt to reverse engineer or overload the service, probe internal systems, bypass limits, or use the service in a way that violates laws, policies, public safety ethics, or the Acceptable Use Policy.
Service Availability
IncidentStudio may be updated, interrupted, limited, suspended, or unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, IncidentStudio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, operational decisions, training outcomes, or public safety consequences arising from use of the service.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, any total liability for claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to IncidentStudio for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold IncidentStudio harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your generated outputs, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
Termination and Suspension
IncidentStudio may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account is unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, unpaid, legally risky, or violating these terms or product policies. You may stop using the service at any time.
Changes and Contact
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
